A room that has a lot of tools in it.
A bulldozer digging through a pile of rubble in front of a brick building.
A house being built in a residential area.

Removing backs of houses to creating open plan living spaces has become 2nd nature to our teams. All our structural works are covered by our fully comprehensive insurance which covers all aspects of our projects.

Do I require planning permission to remove a wall?

You should not need to apply for planning permission for internal alterations such as building or removal of an internal wall. However, if you live in a listed building you will need listed building consent for any significant works carried out internal or externally.

If you wish to build a new internal wall, remove an internal wall or form an opening to an internal wall, building regulations will normally apply.
