We were asked to create plans for an extension for a new family kitchen/dining room. The property had an old outbuilding that was damp and not fit for purpose. We worked closely with our client to come up with a design that fitted their needs and budget. We removed the existing outbuilding and built a single story extension. We then knocked this through to the house to create an open plan kitchen / diner.
The team installed a large roof light to allow natural light into the area and aluminium bifolding doors to access the garden. Luxury vinyl tile flooring was supplied and fitted along with the kitchen and decoration throughout. By choosing to ‘improve’ rather than ‘move’ the family is able to have the space their family needs without the extra costs involved with moving.
