Our client was in need of some extra space for her growing family. This velux loft conversion was covered under permitted development and so we designed the complete loft in house and put together working drawings for our teams to work from saving our client on costly architects fees. We managed to incorporate storage into the eaves areas which we insulated and boarded.
The new loft space included an en-suite shower room and bedroom/living room areas which gave this family the extra space they needed.
We included Velux roof windows to add natural light into the rooms with automatic solar powered blinds.
On this project we did a complete design and build. Our in house teams designed the loft and produced working drawings. We also took care of designing the Structual steel work and Structual calculations needed to satisfy the Local Authorities. We took care of everything in house from the initial enquiry right through to decorating and floor coverings.
